Andrey Loboda, Associate Director, Merck Laboratories

Andrey Loboda, Ph.D., is Data Analysis Head in Informatics and Analysis Department of Early at Merck Co., Inc. Collaborating with Merck Clinical and Basic Research, Dr. Loboda is responsible for integrative analysis of genetic and genomics data aimed at discovery, validation and development of biomarkers for use in the clinical development of novel cancer therapeutics. Dr. Loboda graduated with honors from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia under Dr. Clay Armstrong. Dr. Loboda pursued his post-doctoral training in computational biology at Wistar Institute under the direction of Dr. Louise Show.
