Elaine Nery, Platform Manager, Institut Curie

Elaine Del Nery is head of the Biophenics High-content Screening Facility. Under her direction, the platform team supports research groups on the application of new cellular models in the study of high content imaging to screen chemical compounds and siRNA libraries in the field of cancer, including disease model characterization and the development of novel therapeutics.

The retention using selective hooks (RUSH) system is an exciting and modifiable system to study secretory protein traffic in a controlled manner. We are going to present the advantages of this method over existing approaches to synchronize secretory trafficking and how it can be amenable to high-content screening.
