Indeed attention to this field may increase in response to the FDA’s CiPA proposal for long QT and pro-arrhythmias and HESI-MEA for drug-induced seizures. Within Janssen, we are currently investigating the effects of different reference compounds in different types of hiPS-CMs and hiPS-neurons using different high content screen assays, and establishing potential assay (s) using HiPS-cells for early drug discovery and development. |
