Kendall Van Keuren-Jensen, Professor and Deputy Director, Translational Genomics Research Institute

Dr. Van Keuren-Jensen is Professor in the Neurogenomics Division at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) as well as Deputy Director of the Institute. She is also Co-Leader, Center for Noninvasive Diagnostics. Her primary interests are in using biofluid based markers to diagnose and inform researchers and clinicians about central nervous system disorders and diseases.

Diseases and injuries of the central nervous system are difficult to evaluate or monitor frequently over time. We have been assessing the types of RNAs released from the central nervous system, and its availability for detection in different biofluids. We describe RNA profiles of different biofluids and their correlation with injury and disease.
