In this presentation, Dr. Ramirez will discuss the history and current achievements of liquid biopsy as a valuable prognostic tool for cancer. He will also outline a path forward to developing the next generation of liquid biopsy tools that will not only greatly enhance our ability to diagnose cancer and allow us to design highly individualized treatments, but also will open up entirely new opportunities for pre-natal diagnosis, diagnosis of infectious diseases, and other important applications. |
