Paul Held's Biography

Paul Held, Applications Laboratory Manager, BioTek Instruments

Dr. Paul Held is a Senior Scientist at BioTek. He holds a BS degree in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy (Albany, NY). He also holds an MS degree in Pathology and Molecular Biology and a PhD in Molecular Biology both from Albany Medical College (Albany, NY). Thesis title: Cell Cycle Regulation of HMG CoA Reductase. Dr. Held's post doctoral research fellowship was at the University of Vermont (Burlington, VT) investigating the control mechanisms for the initiation of DNA replication.
