In this lecture I will show examples of such products we are currently developing: a handheld biosensor for immunoassays that can be used for magnetic or optical detection of drugs of abuse (DOA) in saliva, or cardiac markers (e.g. troponin) in blood, and cell-diagnostics applications. I will talk about the principles, (dis)advantages, and critical aspects for commercialization. |
