Santosh Lamichhane, PhD Fellow, Aarhus University

Santosh lamichhane, is a PhD fellow at Food metabolomics and sensory science group, Department of Food science, Aarhus University, Denmark. He has background in Molecular Medicine (MSc, Norwegian University of science and technology, Trondheim, Norway) and his research interest is within NMR and LC/MS based metabolomics, multivaritate data analysis, and human health/diseases/nutrition. Currently, he is working with his PhD project, Development of a metabolomics platform to elucidate the effects of dietary fibers on activity of the microbiota studied in vivo and in an in vitro colon simulator. Santosh has expertise within NMR spectroscopy (HRMAS and Biofluid), multivariate data analysis, and human health/nutrition. In future, he plans to continues his research in understanding the gut bacterial metabolism which has very important role for human health/diseases.
