Muhammad Sameer Safadi's Biography

Muhammad Sameer Safadi, Senior Director, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, Ltd.

Dr. Safadi is a Senior Director of Pharmaceutics who leads the innovative formulation development and drug delivery systems of NCEs at the discovery and product development unit of Teva Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Safadi completed his education in pharmaceutical chemistry from the Hebrew University. From 1990 to 1992 he worked at The University of Kansas (Post-Doc). He then joined Teva Pharmaceuticals to establish the pre formulation unit of innovative products. From 1996 to 2005 he worked at Taro Pharmaceuticals (currently Sun Pharmaceuticals) and established the new pharmaceutical development department and the GMP pilot plant. His work is published in scientific journals and he holds several pending and granted patents.
