Human-sourced MPS provide an opportunity to generate safety and efficacy data for drug development with improved clinical relevance over more traditional animal models. This presentation will outline the context of use of MPS at AstraZeneca and give examples of data generated from these systems, with a focus on the development of a bone marrow-on-a-chip to better predict clinically-observed toxicity. |
