Jani Saarela, Operational Manager, Screening Unit, Institute for Molecular Medicine

Jani Saarela, Ph.D., Senior researcher. Dr Saarela was educated at University of Helsinki, where he received his Ph.D. in the Medical Faculty in 2004. Before joining FIMM in 2010, he worked at National Institute of Health and Welfare, Helsinki, and the Medical University of Vienna. He is currently operational manager of High Throughput Biomedicine unit in FIMM at University of Helsinki, and he is actively using and developing the DSRT platform in addition to developing QC and analysis tools for DSRT.
