Jennifer A. Lewis recently joined the faculty of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University. An innovative pioneer in 3D printing, she leads a vibrant research group that creates new materials and printing platforms for fabricating functional devices and vascularized tissues. She is a Fellow of American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Materials Research Society, the American Physical Society, and the American Ceramic Society. She has received several awards, most notably the MRS Medal, the ACS Langmuir Lecture Award, and the NSF Presidential Faculty Fellow Award. She has published 130 papers, holds 8 patents, and has founded two companies to commercialize the technologies developed in her lab.
