Koji Kuchiishi's Biography

Koji Kuchiishi, CEO, Cyfuse Biomedical

Mr. Kuchiishi is the co-founder and CEO of Cyfuse, the leading technology provider of Bio 3D Printing technology in Japan. Before Cyfuse, he worked at Panasonic Mobile Communications as a product engineer from 1995 to 2001. He then worked at an IP law firm from 2001 to 2004. He joined McKinsey & Company in 2005, and worked for 4 years in operations reform, strategy building, and post-merger management for healthcare companies and manufacturing companies. After leaving McKinsey in 2009, he co-founded Cyfuse Biomedical in 2010 to commercialize proprietary platform technology of 3D biofabrication, which later led to the successful development of the Bio 3D Printer Regenova®. Mr. Kuchiishi has capitalized on his broad experience and expertise in technology, business, and intellectual property in leading the business from its inception. He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Keio University, Japan.
