Here, I will discuss several MEMS/Microfluidics-based approaches for the rapid construction of 3D tissue. We demonstrated a bottom-up tissue construction method using different types of cellular modules that serve as building blocks for thick and dense 3D tissues (eg., cell beads and cell fibers).
