Umesh Pawa's Biography

Umesh Pawa, Managing Director, AB Sciex

After completing his engineering in electronics in 1987, he worked in R&D of telecommunications for 1 ½ years. After this, he joined Labindia in 1989 as a Service Manager – North India for analytical instruments manufactured by Perkin Elmer. In 1996, he started working with Mass Spectrometry and since then has been completely involved with the Sales, Service and Support of Mass Spectrometry instruments manufactured by AB SCIEX. Having worked in various capacities for handling LC-MS and MALDI MS systems, he has over 16 years of experience in Mass Spectrometry and is currently the Managing Director of AB SCIEX in India.

He has conducted several training programs on Mass Spectrometry across industry and academia both and has been an invited speaker at various National level conferences.
