David Harman,

Dr David Harman has held the position of Lecturer and MS Facility Manager at Western Sydney University, Australia, since 2013. He holds a BSc (Hons) degree from the University of New England and a PhD in organic chemistry from the Australian National University, where he worked under the prominent free radical chemist Athelstan Beckwith (FRACI, FAA, FRS, AO). After obtaining his doctorate, Harman worked with Stephen Blanksby at the University of Wollongong in the field of advanced mass spectrometry, then under Gordon Wallace (DSc, FAA, FTSE, FIOP, FRACI, CChem) at the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Electromaterials Science, at the same university. Since 2004 he has been a member and Chartered Chemist of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Mass Spectrometry.
