Rajkumar Halder,
Scientist E,
Translational Health Science and Technology Institute
Rajkumar is currently working as a Scientist E (PI) at Drug Discovery Research Centre, Translational Health Science and Technology Institute, India, focusing on to control cell fate using small organic molecules and natural products to prevent and/or cure metabolic disorder and infectious diseases. He also focuses on to prolong the healthy living through establishing and using the cocktail of natural products. He completed my Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry from University of the Basque Country, Spain after finishing his study from Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur. He did his postdoctoral research from The Scripps Research Institute, Department of Chemistry and the Skaggs Institute for Chemical Biology, La Jolla, California and Max-Planck-Institute for Coal Research, Muelheim an der Ruhr, Germany. Rajkumar has two and half years of Pharmaceutical Industry Experiences at Novartis (GNF), San Diego, CA, USA on drug discovery for resistant and persistent mycobacterium Tuberculosis.

This talk will focus on how to develop a novel antibody-drug
conjugate system through expanding
genetic code and its superiority over other ADC systems. It will also
include strategies and approaches
for selecting an antibody,
linker, toxin/s and payload for the development of a novel ADC system from bench side to bedside for the treatment of
Her2+ breast cancer though strong collaboration between academia and
industries.
