Dev Pandey, Associate Professor, Birla Institute of Technology

Dr. D. M. Pandey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Bio-Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. He completed his Doctoral Program in Plant Physiology from Chaudhary Charan Singh, Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar, India. He did his Post-Doctoral Studies from South Korea in the areas of Plant Molecular Biology and Functional Genomics. He served as Consultant to Plant Breeding, Genetics and Biotechnology, IRRI, Los Banos, Philippines in 2008.

Dr. Pandey received Young Scientist Award in Indian Genetics Congress-2015. He has presented his research work and Chair the Session at National and International Symposium/Conferences/Congress in India and abroad as well as organized International Symposium successfully. He has published several research papers in peer reviewed journals. He is the Principal Investigator of Sponsored projects as well as Guide of many Ph. D. Scholars. He is interested in molecular biology, functional genomics, stress physiology and bioinformatics approaches on crop plants using recent biotechnological tools.
