Sarah Lynagh's Biography

Sarah Lynagh, COO, Fios Genomics Ltd

Dr Sarah Lynagh is Commercial Director for Fios Genomics, a company offering bioinformatics services based in Scotland, UK. She has nearly 15 years’ experience in drug development and commercialization predominantly within contract research organizations in UK and Asia. Sarah was a Research Fellow at Cancer Research UK specializing in the development of novel treatments for colon and ovarian cancers. She then left academia to begin her industry career as a Study Director for Quintiles (Edinburgh) which lead to a move to Singapore to establish Maccine, preclinical CRO specializing in translational models of preclinical safety and efficacy. After 3 years in Asia, she returned to the UK to join BTG heading up the Preclinical Drug Development team and later Biopta Ltd in the position of Head of Research & Development. Sarah has a degree in Pharmacology and a PhD in Neuropharmacology both from the University of Glasgow and is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board in the Department of Informatics at King's College, London.
