Payal Mukherjee's Biography

Payal Mukherjee, Clinical Tutor/Clinical Senior Lecturer, Surgery, Central Clinical School, Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School

Dr Mukherjee is an Adult and Paediatric ENT Surgeon in Sydney with specialty interest in Otology, Cochlear Implantation and Skull Base Surgery. Dr Mukherjee is a Senior Lecturer of Surgery at The University of Sydney and the academic lead for ENT research at the RPA Institute of Academic Surgery. She is a committee member of the NSW State Committee of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a board member of a dedicated research group called the Meniere's research fund, a fund of the Sydney Medical School. Dr Mukherjee has an interest in 3D applications to her clinical work using 3D printing and has also been awarded research grants to develop bioprinting and its applications to Otolaryngology.
