Olivia Candini's Biography

Olivia Candini, Post-doc Fellow, University Hospital of Modena and Reggio Emilia

Olivia Candini, PhD is a post-doctoral associate in Laboratory of Cell Biology and Advanced Cancer Therapies of the Dpt. of Oncology and Hematology at the University of Modena (Italy). Starting form a background in molecular biology and experimental hematology, she has been translating this experience to challenge still obscure aspects of adult stem cells biology and in particular of MSC. Since the last 3 years she has been working with MSC being focused on epigenetic regulation of MSC performance in vivo.   Based on her combined expertise in cell and molecular biology she is therfore deeply engaged in innovative approaches to improve MSC ex-vivo expansion for clinical applications using novel reagent combinations.
