Meeta Patnaik's Biography

Meeta Patnaik, CMO, AXON Dx

Dr. Meeta Patnaik is the Chief Medical Officer for Axon Dx and Axon Connected LLC. She has over 25 years of experience in developing and commercializing over 300 first to market, clinical diagnostic assays and products in the USA and globally. She was the head of R&D at Specialty Labs-acquired by Quest Dx for 14 years, after which she was the co-founder and CSO of Pathway Dx also acquired by Quest. She was VP of Companion Dx for LabCorp. In addition she has served in various roles such as Chief Medical Officer and Chief Commercial Officer for several early stage and large diagnostic companies. Dr. Patnaik completed her medical training, and received training in Pediatrics and Infectious Diseases. She has over 70 publications and has sat on numerous boards over the years. She also has advised the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on their initiatives in India and is a frequent speaker in the personalized medicine space.
