Paolo Neviani is the director and founder of the Extracellular Vesicle Core at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He conducted his pre- and post-doctoral training from 2003 to 2014 at The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, investigating the biology of leukemia stem cells in Chronic Myeloid Leukemia and Acute Myeloid leukemia. In 2014 he joined the laboratory of Dr Muller Fabbri at Children's Hospital LA where he studied the biology of extracellular vesicles and their role in immune escape mechanisms and drug resistance in the tumor microenvironment of neuroblastoma. In 2018 he founded the first Extracellular Vesicle Core lab in the country to provide specialized services in the field of EV research and to assist researchers in the isolation and characterization of EVs.
