This presentation introduces a novel process intensification technique based on the integration of microreactor and plasma technology. By combining the advantages of both platforms, this approach offers a range of key benefits for applications in chemistry and chemical engineering, including continuous operation, non-equilibrium states, green and solvent-free reactive atmospheres, and high-purity products with narrow size distributions. In this lecture, representative setups developed by our group will be presented, along with illustrative examples of this novel technique applied to nanomaterials synthesis, surface modification, additive manufacturing, and beyond. This work is expected to find broad applications in fields such as chemical engineering, chemistry, advanced materials, and bioscience.
