Anna Codina's Biography

Anna Codina, Product Portfolio Manager, Pharma Market, Bruker

Anna has a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Protein NMR from the University of Barcelona, Spain. During this time she did several industrial placements at pharmaceutical industries (Pharmhispania, Spain, and Genentech, SF, USA) and she worked for the NMR service of the University. She then moved to Cambridge, UK, to do a post-doc in protein NMR at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology. After her post-doc she worked at Pfizer, Sandwich, UK, for 8 years doing structure elucidation of low level impurities and reaction monitoring. In 2010 she won a WW Pfizer Achievement Award for the deployment of NMR reaction monitoring to an open access environment. She joined Bruker in 2011 as Material Characterisation Lab. Manager. She then took the role of Head of Field Applications within the Applied, Industrial and Clinical Division of Bruker BioSpin and since few months ago Anna is looking after Pharmaceutical industry as Product Portfolio Manager, Pharma Market, Bruker BioSpin.
