Hans-René Bjørsvik, Professor, University of Bergen

Research and teaching in organic chemistry/synthesis. Research within organometallic catalyzed reactions in organic synthesis, flow chemistry, oxidation in synthesis including synthesis of antioxidants, synthesis of heterocyclic compounds of medicinal chemistry relevance. Target molecule can be from a series of areas, but includes usually the three corner stones: synthetic method development, investigation the scope, and studies to elucidate reaction mechanism proposals.
