Marta Dueñas Porto's Biography

Marta Dueñas Porto, Senior Researcher, CIEMAT

I did my PhD studies in “Antibody Engineering” at Lund University (1992-1995). I then move to CIGB, Havana, Cuba and worked in “Bacteriophage Display of Antibody Fragments” , “Genetic Engineering” and “Diagnostic Systems” fron 1996-1999. In 1999 I became Head of Genomics Department at the CIGB, Cuba to do Genomic Population Studies in high prevalence diseases such as Arterial Hypertension. In 2008 I move to CIEMAT, Spain and start working as senior scientist in Genomics at the Molecular Oncology Department.
