Sravanti Vaidya's Biography

Sravanti Vaidya, Assistant Professor, M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology

Sravanti completed her Masters from IIT and PhD from University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her PhD work focussed on understanding the structural and biochemical aspects of apoptotic proteases. She has recently taken up the position of Assistant Professor at the Biotechnology department at M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore. Currently, she is working on Single Cell Protein production techniques along with teaching Genomics & Proteomics course to bachelors and masters students. She is also working on improving undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum to encourage multidisciplinary research approach among students.
