Sanjeev Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Biocos Lifesciences Private Ltd

Sanjeev Kumar is techno entrepreneur and has more then 18 years of strong technical leadership experience and capabilities in building R&D teams and Start up Company to success. Prior to founding the R&D Company BioCOS Life Sciences, he has served in top-notch companies like Texas Instruments, Motorola, Philips, Honeywell, Wipro and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (Adjunct Faculty in computational Biology) in various positions.

Sanjeev with a record of accomplishment of research and development in computational and applied mathematical algorithms, having US and Indian patents, is currently driving the R&D at BioCOS Life Sciences in the areas of Next generation sequencing data analysis and various computational models and methods development for the better understanding of the complex diseases such as T2D. His high quality experience and leadership in applied mathematics and computational expertise has helped BioCOS to develop sophisticated novel algorithms to solve complicated biological problems with record improvement both both in performance and efficiency especially in the areas of NGS data analysis which has resulted in collaborative research and recent publications in NAR and FEBS Letters.

Alumni of Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc) Bangalore with post graduation in Electrical Engineering also worked in the areas of Mathematical Algorithms, Applied Mathematics, Fighter Aircraft Control Systems (National Control Law team of LCA with ADA and HAL) and nonlinear dynamical systems, Bifurcation and chaotic systems.
