Jacob Tesdorpf's Biography

Jacob Tesdorpf, Director, Perkin Elmer

As portfolio director for high content instruments, Dr. Tesdorpf is leading the global product management and application development for high content screening and live cell imaging at PerkinElmer. He holds a doctorate in biochemistry from Hannover University and did research on nuclear hormone receptors at the Max-Planck-Institute. Dr. Tesdorpf held several imaging related sales and marketing roles at Molecular Dynamics, Amersham Biosciences and GE Healthcare looking after proteomics, microarrays, pre-clinical imaging and high content software. Prior to joining PerkinElmer in 2010 Dr. Tesdorpf headed the marketing group at 5 PRIME GmbH a supplier of nucleic acid purification and amplification products.
