Jiankang He's Biography

Jiankang He, Professor, Xian Jiaotong University

Jiankang He earned his bachelor degree and PhD in mechanical engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University(XJTU) in 2003 and 2010. he has ever studied at Harvard University during 2008-2010 and performed his final year project at Nanyang Technological University of Singapore in 2003. Since 2011, He joined the School of Mechanical Engineering at XJTU as Lecture, associate professor and was recently promoted to full professor. His research interest mainly focuses on bio-additive manufacturing. He has been funded by 10 scientific projects, authorized 15 invention patents and published over 35 original papers in peer-reviewed journals. His researches were selected as the cover images of Small in 2012 and Biofabrication in 2013. He has obtained several awards like Highly Commended Awards from International Emerald Publisher in 2007, the First Prize of Technology Invention from Ministry of Education of China in 2011, Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation from XJTU in 2012 and Excellent Young Scientific Foundation from the Natural Science Foundation of China in 2014.
