Piero Zucchelli's Biography

Piero Zucchelli, Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Alliance

Before founding Andrew Alliance in 2011, Piero was CTO and founder of SpinX Technologies, leading the development for one of the most advanced microfluidics platforms. Prior to that, Piero was a staff member at CERN in Geneva, spending 11 years developing elementary particle detectors and conducting particle physics experiments. Piero received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics for work performed at Stanford University and CERN. He was awarded the international “Tomassoni and Chisesi” prize for a revolutionary invention in neutrino physics, the beta-beam particle accelerator.
