Mi Kyoung Park received the B. Eng. and M. Eng. Degrees in chemical engineering from Hong-Ik University, Seoul, Korea, in 1996 and 1998, respectively. She received her Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Department of Chemistry, University of Houston, TX in 2003. She did her postdoctoral work at Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Germany, where she received an Alexander von Humboldt independent research fellowship. She is currently the Principal Investigator and the Head of Department of Bioelectronics Program at Institute of Microelectronics, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. Her recent research interests include the development of point-of-care devices for cancer diagnostics and infectious disease leveraging advanced silicon micro- and nano-fabrication technologies.
