Charles Baroud is Professeur Charge de Cours at ??cole Polytechnique in France, where he founded and leads the microfluidics research group at the Laboratoire d’Hydrodynamique (LadHyX). He studied at MIT then at the University of Texas at Austin, before doing a post-doc at Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris. Since 2002, his microfluidics research focuses on multiphase flows in complex geometries and on the control of droplet microfluidics for lab on a chip applications. He has published over 30 articles and four patents.
