Wouter van der Wijngaart's Biography

Wouter van der Wijngaart, Professor, KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Wouter van der Wijngaart received the M. Sc. degree in Electrotechnical Engineering from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium (1996) and the Ph. D. degree in microsystem technology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (2002), where he became full Professor (2010). Wouter is currently leading the bio-, micro- and nanofluidics research at the Microsystem Technology Lab at KTH, with a research focus on both lab-on-chip diagnostic systems and microsystems for energy and pneumatic applications.
