Srinivasan Kandaswamy's Biography

Srinivasan Kandaswamy, Group Lead, Achira Labs

Dr. K. Srinivasan did his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University and Master of Engineering in Thermal Engineering from University of Madras (University rank holder). Later he received Ph.D degree in the field of “Microflows” from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, in the year 2009. His main research interests are in Micro fabrication, Microfluidics and Experimental Fluid Mechanics. So far he has filed four patents which are approved in various countries and published seven articles in various international journals and conferences and has extensive experience in microfluidic chip design, prototyping and manufacture. Currently he is working as a Group Lead (Microfluidic chip fabrication and development group) in Achira Labs Pvt Ltd, Bangalore.
