Dr. Guha received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Maryland, College Park, and has extensive experience in medical device flow performance characterization, multiphase flow transport, and bionanoparticle transport. For the last seven years Dr. Guha has been working within Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) at FDA, tackling diverse multiphase flow issues encountered in medical devices. Dr. Guha created FDA’s “CDRH-on-a-chip” microfluidics program and is co-leading the program. He is responsible for creating partnerships with external agencies, small business manufacturers and developing FDA guidance document to assist in the evaluation of microfluidic based medical devices.
