Here we will discuss our studies on exploring microfluidic principles to advance bioaffinity-based assays for quantitative detection and biochemical characterization of circulating cancer biomarkers. More specifically, this presentation will be focused on microfluidic engineering of both immunoassays and lectin array to substantially improve the assay performance. Their applications to detection and glycan profiling of circulating proteins markers and exosomes associated with tumors will be presented to demonstrate the potential use for cancer diagnosis. |
