Joe Daniel started his career as a cancer researcher at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney for 8 years. His projects related to elucidating the molecular mechanisms of lung and colorectal carcinogenesis with publications in journals such as Cancer Research, Journal of Clinical Oncology and Gut. From 2006 Joe transitioned into business development and account management roles first at Roche Diagnostics Australia and then at Life Technologies, now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. In 2015 Joe moved to Singapore and is now responsible for Oncology business development and support in the Asia Pacific and Japan region for Thermo Fisher Scientific. He is passionate about improving cancer patient outcomes by enabling clinical labs with next generation molecular technologies.
