Jirina Kroupová's Biography

Jirina Kroupová, Researcher, University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague

Jirina Kroupová is a Researcher at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague. She graduated with honors from the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague in 2018 and received the Dean´s Prize for excellent study results. In that year, she became a member of the Chemical Robotics Laboratory and started to work under the joint supervision of Prof. Štepánek and Dr. Hanuš. She has also worked at the Czech Academy of Sciences (the Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals) for 6 months. A central theme of her research is the preparation of multicellular tumor spheroids using different techniques and their applications in the development of drug carriers (e.g. liposomes, chemical robots).
