Ludivine Delon's Biography



Ludivine Delon, Researcher, Future Industries Institute, University of South Australia

Ludivine is a PhD candidate at the UniSA’s Future Industries Institute under the supervision of Professor Benjamin Thierry. Ludivine did a 2-year undergraduate course specializing in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Earth Sciences in Paris and graduated with a Dual degree, Diploma of Engineer in Food Science and Research Master in Human Nutrition in 2015 in Nantes, France. She did research internships in Ireland, Brazil and Chile, in Chemical Engineering, Food Science and Human Nutrition.

After investigating the effect of shear stress on the functional and structural differentiation of an intestine-on-a-chip, microfluidic devices were developed to study the uptake and transport mechanisms (degradation of particles, biologic payload translocation, mucus interaction) of particulate carriers.
