Kathrin Adlkofer is founder and CEO of Cellbox Solutions GmbH, a technology company focusing on innovative logistic solutions for the global BioMedTech industry, established in Northern Germany in 2016. In addition, she is partner of CK Venture, a family office supporting innovative projects in the health and renewable energy sector.
Prof. Dr. Adlkofer holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich and is appointed as Professor for Entrepreneurship at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Business Development, University of Lubeck.
Following her university career at the universities of Berlin, Harvard and Zurich, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Salk Institute, San Diego, USA. In 2000, Kathrin Adlkofer switched to the private sector to work as a Business and Corporate Developer at Evotec AG, closing several service deals and strategic alliances with Pharma and Biotech companies. Following this, she became Managing Director of a techtransfer subsidiary of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, called MediGate GmbH. Before founding her own health company mei:do concepts GmbH in 2012, she was managing the cluster agency for Life Sciences of the federal states Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, formerly known as Norgenta and today operating as Life Science Nord. Kathrin Adlkofer is two-time world champion in the Olympic 470 class and competed twice in the Olympics.
