Jean-Jacques Palombo, MD, MBA, is currently Senior Vice President in charge of the Lifecycle Team Cardiac, Women’s Health & CDx portfolios of Roche Diagnostics. Dr. Palombo worked in both public and private sectors. He started his career in Paris Hospitals (APHP) as an Internist, before joining the former French Health Regulator - AFSSAPS - where he evaluated the risk-benefit ratio of prescription drugs. In 2007, Dr. Palombo joined the US Healthcare Practice of the Boston Consulting Group, serving as an advisor for both US healthcare corporations (Pharma, Medtech, Payors) and US public administrations (State, Federal, Academic). In 2011, Dr. Palombo joined Roche, and launched in Europe and Latin America a few novel medical technologies in the fields of personalized healthcare, cervical cancer screening and cardiology. Dr. Palombo received his M.D. from the University of Paris where he trained in Internal Medicine, and his MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT Sloan School of Management).
