Jeremy Segal, MD, PhD is the Director of Bioinformatics of the Division of Genomic and Molecular Pathology at The University of Chicago. He is also the Assistant Director of the Division, and Assistant Professor of Pathology. Dr. Segal received a Doctor of Medicine from Weill Medical College of Cornell University and Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics from Rockefeller University in New York City, and is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology. At University of Chicago, Dr. Segal is responsible for overseeing the development and performance of clinical next generation sequencing assays to support personalized medicine initiatives and translational research in oncology and other areas of pathology practice. Prior to joining University of Chicago, he was the Director of Clinical Development and Policy at the New York Genome Center.
