Dr. Yale is Vice President of Clinical Solutions, ActiveHealth Management supporting business development, sales, new market creation, and new product innovation. Expertise in law, science, and medicine with more than 15 years experience in health care finance and delivery, data science, and government regulations. Prior to ActiveHealth, he was CEO of the innovation incubator at a major, national health plan with strategic and operational responsibility for a team developing, implementing, and operating innovative products and services. Previous work in medical management and innovation includes Corporate VP at Matria Healthcare, head of Government Programs for CorSolutions, principle consultant with Health Solutions Network, SVP/General Counsel at EduNeering, and Founder/CEO of Advanced Health Solutions. Before building innovative health businesses, Dr. Yale held leadership positions in government as Chief of Staff for White House Office of Science and Technology, Special Assistant to the President and Executive Director of White House Domestic Policy Council, Legislative Counsel in U.S. Senate, and Commissioned Officer in U.S. Public Health Service. Dr. Yale provides current leadership in roles at URAC and Bloomberg/BNA Health Insurance Advisory Board. He is a frequent writer and speaker on technology and regulatory topics, and author of Managed Care Compliance Guide (2000, American Health Lawyers Association), Clinical Integration: A Roadmap to Accountable Care (2011, Convurgent), Comparative Effectiveness – Evolving to a New Model (2012, Convurgent), and and a tutorial in Practical Predictive Analytics and Decisioning Systems for Medicine (2014, Elsevier).
