Honglan Shi's Biography

Honglan Shi, Research Professor, Lab Director of Center for Single Nanoparticle, Single Cell, and Single Molecule Monitoring, Missouri University of Science and Technology

Dr. Honglan Shi received a B.S. degree in chemistry from Zhengzhou University in China, a M.S. degree in biochemistry from Iowa State University, and a Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Shi is currently a Research Professor of chemistry at Missouri University of Science and Technology, a Sr. Investigator of Center for Research in Energy and Environment (CREE), and Lab Director of Center for Single Nanoparticle, Single Cell, and Single Molecule Monitoring (CS3M). She has many years’ experiences in environmental and life science research, focusing on development of advanced analytical techniques and methods for bioanalytical and environmental applications in the fields of emerging environmental contaminants and bioanalysis by using advanced instrumentations such as ICP-MS, HPLC-MS, GC-MS etc.
