Hilde Stenuit's Biography

Hilde Stenuit, ICE Cubes Space Access Business Developer, ICE CUBES Space Applications Services

Dr. Hilde Stenuit is a seasoned researcher and Principal Scientist for Space Applications Services. She is currently using her expertise to guide the users of and create opportunities for commercial access to Space through the first European commercial ISS service called ICE Cubes (International Commercial Experiment Cubes).

She received her M.Sc. in Mathematics & Applied Physics and her Ph.D. in Plasma-Astrophysics from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL). Since then she has been working with Space Applications Services. She worked as operations specialist for International Space Station (ISS) modules, for spacecraft (ATV), and for research on National Soyuz missions and ISS.

Afterwards she supported ESA of which more than a decade in a function of ESA ISS Mission Science Office, doing scientific coordination and research planning of the complement of ISS science experiments.
