Derek Hodgins, Director of Business Development, Advanced Programs, Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems

Derek Hodgins is a Director of Business Development in the Advanced Programs Division of Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems, focusing on NGIS’ human space systems. He holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University, an M.E. in Space Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan, and M.B.A. from George Washington University. He leads NGIS’ commercialization of LEO program along with supporting the company’s support to NASA LEO and deep-space exploration. Prior to NGIS, Derek worked in the Strategic Investments Division of NASA Headquarters, Space Shuttle Mission Control, and was a systems engineer on numerous NASA science spacecraft.
