Circulating Tumor Cells

Register

Our inaugural Circulating Tumour Cells 2012 conference is expanding on the interest expressed in the CTC sessions of our very popular Single Cell Analysis conferences.

With oncologists increasingly using CTCs to gather prognostic information on their patients, it is more and more apparent that CTCs can offer clinicians a non-invasive means of sampling for genetic markers, monitoring treatment responsiveness, aiding in treatment decision-making and indicating novel drug targets.
However, there are still issues and questions being raised about the clinical significance of CTCs, as well as the need to improve sensitivity, reproducibility and reliability of their use in disease monitoring. To solve these problems there is a real need for increased collaboration and understanding if the industry is to effectively use CTCs to improve cancer survival rates and provide significant cost-savings.

The Circulating Tumor Cells 2012 conference and exhibition offers delegates 2 days of world class speakers who are at the forefront of the field and whose talks will be exploring, as well as attempting to answer, some of these CTC questions.

Running alongside the conference will be an exhibition covering the latest technological advances and associated services within these fields.
