Overview

This track of the SELECTBIO Circulating Biomarkers World Congress 2015 presents the most up-to-date technologies and approaches for Front-end Sample Preparation for the study of circulating biomarkers.

It has become abundantly clear that front-end sample preparation is a major challenge when interrogating clinical samples isolated in various settings (out-patient clinics, doctors offices, hospital settings). Optimization of sample preparation is a key-component of the clinical translation of circulating biomarkers from the research setting to clinical deployment.

Emerging technologies and approaches for interrogating complex and clinical samples will be presented, especially in the context of how they can be incorporated for the study of biomarkers.
